We’re beyond excited to welcome beauty lovers to our brand-new MECCA Townsville store, landing soon in tropical North Queensland! Set across 500sqm with eight dedicated makeup chairs, two skin beds and a stunning Perfumeria, the new space is designed for locals and visitors alike, whether you’re heading out, winding down, or simply soaking up the sunshine. At MECCA Townsville, we’re bringing our signature beauty experience to the heart of the community, offering moments of MECCA magic, self-care and connection, every day.
As a part of our in-store management team, you will support our Hosts & Specialists in delivering an unparalleled customer experience by championing our MECCA Values and embodying our vision to make customers look and feel their best every single day.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Engaging and motivating your team to bring their best self to work to ensure we are meeting key KPIs and key in-store targets
- Mentoring and providing feedback to your team to continue to drive their professional development
- Work closely with the State and Regional management team to lead the unparalleled MECCA store experience
- Ensure smooth and efficient store operations that underpin a seamless customer experience
What success looks like in this role:
Our ideal candidates will have the following:
- A minimum of 1 year directly, or indirectly, managing a team in a retail environment for all roles below a store manager
- Retail Managers will have a minimum of 2 years directly, or indirectly, managing a team in a retail environment
- Experience in driving and delivering an exceptional customer service in a high-energy environment
- An ‘elbows-out’ mindset and a passion for all things beauty
- Proven ability to drive key sales outcomes
- A relentless desire to ensure operational effectiveness with a strong understanding of back of house operations
- The ability to influence, coach and mentor others while building strong relationships built on trust, empathy, and transparency
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
