Job Description

The Role

The MD Global Liquidity Direct Sales will source, develop, and expand direct institutional client relationships across the United States with a primary focus on growing assets in the firm’s money market funds. You will work closely with the Head of Global Liquidity Relationship Management and senior U.S. distribution leaders to align strategic goals and execute on national growth initiatives.

This role partners extensively with portfolio managers, product teams, and the broader U.S. institutional sales organization to deliver cash‑management insights, drive enterprise engagement, and support the firm’s liquidity strategy across corporations, public entities, nonprofits, and other institutional investors.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Drive growth of U.S. money market fund assets through direct engagement with corporate treasurers, finance leaders, institutional investors, and public sector clients.
  • Increase market share and brand visibility within the U.S. institutional liquidity marketplace.
  • Integrate Global Liquidity priorities with the firm’s national institutional distribution strategy.
  • Partner with Global Portfolio Managers to communicate market conditions, client insights, and evolving product needs.
  • Build and maintain senior‑level relationships across treasury, finance, and investment organizations.
  • Represent the firm through client presentations and participation in U.S. industry conferences, treasury events, and client forums.
  • Collaborate with product, legal, marketing, operations, and compliance teams to support effective business execution and client outcomes.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and CRM discipline to prioritize high‑value opportunities, ensure accurate activity tracking, and support future growth.

Requirements of the role:

  • 10+ years of direct sales experience in the U.S. institutional market, preferably within cash management or liquidity solutions.
  • Deep understanding of money market funds, institutional distribution, and corporate treasury needs within the U.S. investment landscape.
  • Proven track record of raising and retaining institutional assets and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing, liquidity vehicles, operational workflows, and relationship management in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to anticipate and articulate market trends, regulatory developments, and product changes impacting liquidity management.
  • Strategic, commercially focused mindset with experience operating effectively in a large, global organization.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills, including engagement with C‑suite and senior treasury leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred; FINRA registrations required (7, 63) and relevant certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA, CFP) a plus.

The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $185,000/ year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
