Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
The MBIC Specialist supports the Lead in delivering exceptional customer experiences at the Maxis Business Innovation Centre (MBIC). This role focuses on executing immersive showcases, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal teams, vendors, and partners. The Specialist plays a key role in creating impactful engagements for SME, Corporate, Government, and Wholesale segments, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to demonstrate Maxis’s ICT and converged solutions.
What are you accountable for?
- Customer Experience Planning & Execution
- Assist in planning, preparing and executing customer visits and walkthroughs.
- Engage Sales Team to understand customers’ needs and develop a customised journey
- Deliver high level presentation and solution experience for customer in Experience Center
- Provide on-site support during customer engagements with Account Managers and segment teams.
- Ensure all experiential showcases and technology demonstrations are set up and functioning optimally.
- Content & Innovation Support
- Coordinate MBIC content refresh activities under the guidance of the Lead.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to implement innovative ideas using technologies such as 5G, AI, IoT, AR/VR.
- Manage logistics for content updates and technology demonstrations.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee and manage daily operational tasks, including meeting room bookings and resource tracking.
- Ensure technology and infrastructure are fully functional for customer visits.
- Track and report KPIs such as visit counts, customer feedback, and room utilization.
- Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless execution of MBIC activities.
What do you need for the role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field
- Fresh graduates with a passion for event management and customer experience are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with technologies such as 5G, AI, IoT, AR/VR (advantage)
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute customer visits and events
- Basic technical understanding for technology demonstrations and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools
- Detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused
- Adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Willing to work on-site and coordinate with multiple teams and vendors
