DESCRIPTION:

The Maximo System Administrator is responsible for the overall health, performance, and technical maintenance of the IBM Maximo environment. This includes managing system configurations, environments, user access, and platform stability across Maximo deployments.

This role provides system-level support to ensure functional requirements are properly implemented and sustained. The administrator manages infrastructure components, including Red Hat OpenShift (RHOS), databases, and system integrations. They also oversee security, user provisioning, performance tuning, patching, and upgrades, ensuring the system operates reliably and securely in alignment with organizational standards.


REQUIREMENTS:

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field
•    3–5+ years of Maximo system administration experience
•    Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift (RHOS) and containerized environments
•    Database management experience (DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server)
•    Experience with user security, access controls, and system configuration
•    Knowledge of system performance tuning, patching, and upgrades
•    Familiarity with Maximo deployment architecture and infrastructure
