Schedule is daily for 2nd shift from 2:00pm-10:30pm including weekends and holidays.
Pay Range
$19.45 - $29.20EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/GED or the equivalent in experience preferred. Previous experience with warehouse/receiving or distribution of supplies preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Maintains medical supplies inventory for designated departments. 2. Accurately counts par levels and replenishes par levels per established schedule. 3. Organizes storage areas in a neat and orderly manner. 4. Notifies lead distribution technician when any stock levels reaches critical low levels or outage. 5. Ensures that all patient chargeable items are clearly and accurately labeled with date and charge number. Accuracy in matching goods with receiving slips. 6. Accuracy in counting supplies on assigned par levels. 7. Accuracy in checking for expired goods. 8. Amends par level sheets to meet the needs of the department. 9. Rotates incoming supplies with supplies on the shelf to ensure that no products expire. 10. Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. 11. Ensures the highest possible level of service to patient care areas through accurate inventory of par stock areas. 12. Ensures the rotation of medical supplies within the par stock area on each nursing unit. 13. Assumes responsibility for over the counter issues, courier service and bed storage/transfer services. 14. Ensures all work areas are clean and orderly. 15. Ensure materials and supplies are placed properly in designated location for distribution.
