Title: Material Processor
Location-Norcross, Georgia
The Materials Processor I is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through accurate and timely handling of materials within the inventory management system. This role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and picking raw materials, sub-assemblies, and component parts to support the assembly of company-manufactured products.
This position promotes a safe and organized work environment while ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient material flow.
Receive, inspect, and put away raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies into assigned inventory locations
Pick and issue materials to support production schedules and kit assemblies
Perform inventory transactions, including reclassifications and transfers, within the inventory management system
Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives
Maintain housekeeping and organization of all assigned work areas
Follow all environmental, health, and safety policies, including proper use of PPE
Report safety hazards, risks, and improvement opportunities
Provide on-the-job training (OJT) and guidance to less experienced team members
Participate in required health and safety training programs
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Minimum of 2 year of experience in a materials handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
Basic experience using an inventory management system (ERP, WMS, or similar)
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, walking, and material movement throughout the shift
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies
Basic computer skills, including data entry and system navigation
