Reporting to the Materials Manager, as a Planner, you will be responsible for maximizing service levels while minimizing inventory levels. You will also be responsible for reviewing current production schedules that support the manufacturing process. You will create, follow up on, and report production schedules to ensure alignment with supply and demand.
Control raw material inventory levels according to business guidelines and reduce obsolete/excess stock.
Monitor and manage logistics costs related to material shipments and coordinate material requirements for new product introductions.
Manage blocked, consigned, and quality-inspection inventory and ensure proper disposition.
Plan, control, and manage all materials to ensure compliance with the production plan.
Ensure that weekly production planning schedules are obtained in advance to maintain supply chain stability.
Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
Fluent English (90% proficiency, including strong conversational ability).
Strong planning, inventory, and supplier management skills.
ERP system knowledge (SAP or Oracle is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with a sense of urgency.
Effective communication and collaboration at all organizational levels.
