Reporting directly to the Site Director, you as a Materials Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing Warehouse Operations, Receiving, Shipping, and Distribution Center activities at our Matehuala manufacturing plant. You will ensure efficient material flow, accurate physical handling of goods, and on-time customer shipments while maintaining compliance with company policies and operational standards.

You will drive operational execution within the warehouse and distribution environment, focusing on safety, service levels, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement across inbound and outbound logistics processes. In this role, you will enforce Littelfuse processes and procedures to guarantee consistent, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations.

About the Job:

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates with full accountability for performance, development, and team results.

  • Oversee daily warehouse and distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.

  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of materials and finished goods, maintaining proper documentation and system transactions.

  • Manage outbound shipments to meet customer delivery commitments and service level agreements.

  • Supervise inbound and outbound logistics processes, ensuring compliance with shipping, export, and import requirements.

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Inventory Control teams to support physical inventory accuracy and cycle counting execution.

  • Act as escalation point for operational issues impacting shipments, receiving, or distribution activities.

  • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Customer Service, and Quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.

  • Identify and implement process improvements in warehouse layout, material handling, and labor productivity using Lean principles.

  • Monitor warehouse-related costs, including labor and freight coordination, and drive performance improvement initiatives.

  • Support internal and external audits related to warehouse and logistics processes.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Location: Matehuala, San Luis Potosí.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Five to seven years of professional experience in warehouse management, distribution, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum three years of leadership experience managing warehouse or shipping teams.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling systems, and shipping processes.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and performance improvement skills.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
