Position Responsibilities:
Perform daily work and analysis using manufacturing and materials systems (MRP/ERP), spreadsheets, handheld scanners and databases to process transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare status reports.
Maintain inventory accuracy utilizing Boeing databases. Identify inventory discrepancies and elevate as needed.
Issue and route tools, parts, standards, and materials to shop personnel, while maintaining thorough inventory control and sending used equipment for refurbishment as needed.
Communicate effectively with internal customers to ensure timely delivery of products and services, and review work areas for job assignments or assistance from supervisors.
Operate material handling equipment and vehicles (e.g., pallet jacks, overhead hoists) to move freight, load and unload transportation containers, and unpack shipping materials while adhering to safety protocols.
Inspect tools and materials for defects, discrepancies, and damage, including checking age-date-controlled items, and service satellite supply/tool areas as required.
Receive, unload, inspect, identify, weigh, count, and verify incoming materials, hardware and shipments; check identification and inspect for damage.
Sort freight and route it to the appropriate areas. Position completed work orders for issuing/receiving and provide status updates on material availability to management.
Maintain the 5S process for organization and cleanliness, ensuring proper labeling and FIFO processes for tools and parts storage, including numbering and tagging new tools.
Safely handle and dispose hazardous materials in accordance with procedures using personal protective equipment, and regularly maintain required training and certifications.
Coordinate the issue and return of tools/equipment; maintain certification/calibration records (Cal/Cert) and tool certification documentation.
Identify and implement improvements for processes and procedures, assist in kitting, relabeling, and repackaging materials under supervision, and arrange to loan tools and equipment as required.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect hearing, face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:
1+ years’ experience in materials management, warehousing, supply support or a manufacturing environment.
1+ year of experience using software applications for internet navigation, e-mail, Microsoft applications and/or other specialized computer applications.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to interact with internal customers and cross-functional groups.
Ability to work in a schedule-driven, high-volume production environment and adapt to schedule changes.
Ability to read and interpret part numbers, labels, packing lists and simple technical documentation.
