Supports the processes associated with inventory movement and material support to other PCI Pharma Services departments.  This position should have a basic understanding of the receipt, shipment or movement of Non-GMP material, Raw Materials, Samples, Drug Substance and Final Product. Employees will be expected to follow PCI Pharma Service’s SOP’s for raw material movement, raw material inventory, material transfer, CSM inventory.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The basic duties and responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned.

  • Train on GMP processes in materials management. 

  • Train on required SOPs and execute training curriculum. 

  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflect positively on the company. 

  • Performs various materials management functions such as receiving, inventory control, shipping and internal logistics. 

  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis. 

  • Embodies PCI Pharma Service’s cultural values. Aligns daily actions with department and company goals.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED. Bachelors in Science Preferred

  • Zero to two (0-2) years of material management experience.

  • Experience in a cGMP environment strongly preferred.

  • Ability to follow directions in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.

  • Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines or as a team member.

  • Familiarity with quality standards, supplier management policies and cGMP standards.

  • Extensive experience with ERP systems and planning tools preferred.

  • Proven track record of problem solving and cross functional teamwork

  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

While performing the duties the employee is:

  • constantly required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment

  • constantly stand for extended periods of time, up to four (4) hours/time.

  • frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds

  • constantly required to view objects at close and distant ranges with hand and eye coordination

  • frequently required to communicate with others

Note: For the purpose of this summary, occasionally is used to represent up to 1/3 of the time given to the work day, frequently represents 1/3 to 2/3 of the time and constantly represents 2/3 or more of the time.

*The hiring rate for this position is $17.77 -$19.99  plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
