Vast is looking for a Materials Coordinator reporting to the Manager, Test Site Operations to support the development of the inspection systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Mojave location.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Fulfill material requests within a timely manner according to department SLA.
  • Safeguard inventory by strict adherence to processes, procedures, and guidance to maintain inventory accuracy of 95%+. 
  • Record material issuance and return to stock (RTS).
  • Effectively communicate discrepancies, damages, and concerns.
  • Receipt of inbound materials and confirm packing slip accuracy.
  • Transact material into inventory.
  • Load and unload vehicles manually and with a forklift.
  • Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, and other warehousing equipment and tools.
  • Complete all annual training before deadlines.
  • Adapt to changing responsibilities as needed to achieve company goals.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inventory experience.
  • 1+ year of shipping and receiving experience.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work varying shifts including weekends when required to achieve company goals.

Pay Range:

  • Material Handler I: $19.63 - $23.99
  • Materials Handler II: $ $23.23 - $28.42
