Manage and review Material Requirements Plan (MRP) and/or action messages to initiate supply chain requirements with focus being short to medium term (1 to 6 months)
Establishes proposal, task and program/project scheduling details for material planning
Support both the Run Out and Supplier Quality Material Planning Specialists in calculating and making judgements on lifetime procurement and stocking requirements for all parts
Identify and resolve material supply issues to ensure support of demand requirements
Provide technical support for all functional departments including receiving, shipping, storage, processing, assembly/sub-assembly, communication and /or related equipment, packaging and returns to ensure client standards are maintained
Perform tasks to maintain and improve the point of use presentation of parts
Take necessary actions to secure right level and mix of components
Maintains accurate purchase order information in the MAPICS system
May oversee work of other coordinators
Implements and monitors standard procedures
