Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to manage critical production, spares, and sustainment efforts for the APY10 Maritime Radar in supporting material management, strategic planning, proposal capture, and financial reporting.  This role will support the Program with materials management and work with Program Operations Management (POM) to plan / release material requirements, engage with Production Control for required PRISM transactions, and engage with Procurement Professionals to place orders in support of MRP build plans.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate supplier source selection activities with engineering and program management.
  • Partner with procurement to ensure PIAs / NDAs for technical exchanges; procurement strategies to set up buys and execution of contracts.
  • Lead proposal activities stemming from recurring production contracts for both Domestic / International customers.
  • Support program financials by working all LRE / Quarterly EACs (Estimates at Complete).
  • Report on Material Sales forecasting weekly and quarterly.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a program/project manager and/or in a supply chain role.
  • Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools, including MRP (Kinaxis/ SAP/PRISM).

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement, Six Sigma or Lean methodologies/principals

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
