About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will ensure the timely availability of materials required for the production of high-precision electron microscopes and spectroscopy systems. You will play a key role in balancing material availability, inventory levels, and production demands in a dynamic, international manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage material requirements based on production forecasts and customer orders
  • Ensure timely procurement and availability of components and raw materials
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to meet service and cost targets
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Engineering, and Logistics teams
  • Proactively mitigate supply risks
  • Manage master data in ERP/MRP systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain function
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) projects from a planning perspective

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing environment)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Good understanding of inventory management principles
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment
  • Fluent in English and Czech/Slovak (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in high-tech, electronics, or precision manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies
  • APICS/CPIM certification
