Location/Division Specific Information:

This is a full-time role in the Single Use Division and will be performed at our Santa Clara, CA site. This role is intended to operate on the first shift (day shift) Monday – Friday.

How You Will Make an Impact:

As part of the Santa Clara, CA team, this position supports and works closely with Manufacturing Operations, Facilities Management, Manufacturing Planning, Quality Assurance, Corporate Procurement, and Finance.

A Day in the Life:

  • Issue Purchase Orders to support production needs while optimizing inventory levels, strictly sourcing materials from approved vendors.
  • Forecast raw material requirements based on historical data and Intuitive demand to determine availability, managing potential issues proactively.
  • Follow up on Purchase Orders and expedite materials as required, ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules.
  • Manage inventory balances of all required materials to support inventory goals, Safety Stock, and production requirements.
  • Effectively manage raw material changes to ensure constant availability and handle any excess or obsolete materials.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to determine efficient transportation routes for incoming materials, considering both cost and transit time.
  • Communicate any raw material shortages or quality issues to appropriate departments, bringing up the matter as needed.
  • Maintain ERP supplier and raw material data accurately.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Associates degree acceptable with 3-4 years related experience

Experience:

  • 2 years of related experience in manufacturing, supply chain distribution
  • Automation and Equipment experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficient in MRP/MRPII software, preferably Intuitive, and MS Office Suite.
  • Possess strong analytical and math skills, with experience in Power BI reporting.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing processes, Practical Process Improvement (PPI), and Kanban.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $64,800.00–$97,200.00.
