Material Handler

about the position…

Power Design continues to grow and expand, and we’re looking for a Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring materials, parts, and finished products are accurately received, stored, and prepared for distribution. You’ll work closely with the warehouse team to maintain accurate inventory, move materials safely, and support production schedules.  If you enjoy working in a hands-on environment, staying organized, and being a key player in keeping operations running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!

position details/responsibilities…

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, equipment, and components.

  • Ensure accurate labeling, stocking, and organization of inventory within warehouse storage areas.

  • Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production teams and outbound shipments.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to support a safe working environment.

  • Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and document movement of materials.

  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.

  • Communicate with production, logistics, and transportation teams to support timely workflow.

here’s what we’re looking for…

  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or manufacturing environment (construction supply experience a plus).

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment (current certification preferred or ability to obtain).

  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Familiarity with inventory systems, barcoding, or warehouse software a plus.

  • Ability to lift, move, and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
