Transport and distribute materials and goods within the facility
Pick and stock orders
Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
Pack and unpack goods
Install, lash, and secure goods
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 months working in Wage Grade 1 or higher.
Reach Truck, Narrow aisle, and Picker Truck experience is preferred.
Must be able to prioritize numerous demands and possess good time management skills
Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment with minimum supervision.
Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds.
Familiar with computer/tablet use; basic understanding of Microsoft suite is preferred
Preference will be given to candidates with accredited reach truck/forklift certification.
A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures.
Note:
This posting is for a static weekend shift scheduled Fri, Sat, Sun - 12 hours per day
The successful candidate may be required to complete training during a Mon - Thurs / Fri weekday shift and will move to weekends once they have sufficient experience
Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement

Hourly Rate: $24.72 - $35.02 / Hour
