What you will be doing:

This position is responsible for ensuring parts and components are available on-time and in the right quantitates to meet our customer demands and on time delivery.  Assist Senior Manager Logistics to plan changes for assigned areas and helps coordinate into production when appropriate.

  • Responsible for strategic daily/weekly production planning to effectively schedule and manage change in the production schedule.  

  • Responsible for ordering and scheduling part delivery in alignment with production schedule, informing scheduling and management of delivery issues. Prepares Purchase requisitions and maintains Schedule Agreement delivery schedules to obtain materials.

  • Strategically expedites parts that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

  • Promotes a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the
    Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.

Who we’re looking for:

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Materials Management/Supply Chain Management or procurement and 5 years of supplier, materials management or planning/scheduling experience; or 9 years of supplier, materials management or planning/scheduling experience.   
  • Must be available to work all shifts and/or flexible hours.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of computer applications and/or controlled systems.
  • Excellent level of analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Excellent understanding of modern inventory management principles
  • Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
     

Work Conditions:

This position has a compressed work schedule (Monday through Thursday). Daily work is performed in an office environment where the employee is regularly requested to use a computer.
