Own and deliver fully resolved sketches and tech packs of new eyewear concepts based on the specifications set per the product brief and licensor requests
Excellence in generating and approving fully detailed technical drawings, inclusive of section drawings, exploded views, and notes for prototyping
Excellence in CAD assessment/revisions to ensure accurate translation of drawings, adherence to QC standards, and proper fit
Own and drive design ideation, technology, and trend research sessions
Lead in gathering, interpreting, sharing, and raising awareness of technology and trends in the eyewear and fashion markets
Lead product innovation with factories and ensure compliance with all quality requirements
Review, mentor, and critique the junior design team
Communicate and collaborate with all other designer levels to help with ad-hoc projects
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Master's Degree in Industrial Design or related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of eyewear design experience
Excellent Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Proficiency in 3D advanced surfacing in programs such as Rhino, Alias, or Pre-E
Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask
Excellence in sketching, concept ideation, and design vision
Excellent project management skills
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of the job duties
Travel domestic and international may be required

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
