Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT
ROLE PURPOSE
Transaction Processing trainee role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Master Data processes, preparing the trainee for more advanced roles within the finance and accounting departments. Transaction Processing Trainee aims learn and assist with the various processes that are part of the Master Data.
The responsibilities of a Master Data (MD) trainee typically include a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the Master Data processes:
Supporting the team in ensuring process compliance with internal procedures and guidelines.
Assisting in updating process documentation (DPMs) under the guidance of senior team members.
Performing basic changes to existing master data records in line with defined rules.
Creating simple master data objects according to Data Quality Rules and established procedures.
Conducting initial data quality checks.
Handling basic daily enquiries related to Master Data operations.
Contributing to meeting departmental targets by working in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and sharing ideas to enhance process efficiency.
Collaborating with colleagues across the Master Data function to support smooth service delivery.
Taking part in data cleansing activities and projects.
Learning and developing knowledge in at least one Master Data stream.
Preparing simple regular and ad hoc reports as requested
Knowledge of other SSC specific process would be beneficial
Basic skills on MS Office applications, especially Excel
Good command of the English language, both verbal and in writing
Additional language will be an advantage.
SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of Master Data processes would be an advantage.
