As a global position encompassing both Strategic and Operational dimensions, the Master Data Expert oversees a designated domain (Product/Material/Customer or Vendor), serving as a crucial business partner across all functions interacting with this data.

Ready to define and uphold data standards, policies, and governance frameworks, while overseeing data quality, approving critical changes, and driving continuous improvements within your domain?

Then this is your unique opportunity to collaborating closely with the Head of Global Master Data and shape and execute Zentiva's Master Data and Data Governance strategy.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Own the knowledge about how the assigned Master Data domain data are being used in Zentiva, by which business functions to which purpose

  • Act as a SPOC for the assigned Master Data domain

  • Define data standards, policies and overall data management of the assigned Master Data domain

  • Lead trainings on the data standards and policies

  • Ensure assigned Master Data domain data flows, and standards and policies fit the current and near-future needs

  • Create Data Quality monitoring framework and set up robust data cleansing and remediation processes

  • Define quality checks and measurements to monitor the data quality

  • Define and execute processes that will increase the data quality and data reliability

  • Manage and oversee the implementation of improvements

  • Perform day-to-day approval of key changes to the assigned Master Data domain records

What will you need to thrive in this role:

  • Experience with analysis of large data volumes (at least 100k of records) and extracting relevant information

  • Experience with analysis and modeling of business processes within large organizations

  • Proficiency level of English, Czech/Slovak would be a plus

  • Ability to understand and navigate complex business process environments

  • Strong analytical skills – ability to identify and extract relevant information

  • Stakeholder management skills and strong communication skills

  • SAP, Experience setting up a Data Governance and experience with at least one MDM tool - great advantage.
