Key Responsibilities
- Assess current master data practices and identify risks that could impact operations during transformations initiatives and propose structural solutions.
- Analyze current master data structures and identify risks, gaps, and standardization opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to simply, standardize and strengthen data processes to cater to long-term operational resilience.
- Partner with supply chain functions Plan, Procurement, Make, deliver teams etc to translate operational needs into scalable & practical data and process design.
- Validate solution designs to protect legacy ERPs and downstream operational flows, reporting, and integrations.
- Assist in data quality initiatives, cleansing strategies, and mapping frameworks across legacy systems.
- Drive data quality improvements and support governance adoption.
- Collaborate with deployment partners while maintaining strong focus on operational feasibility.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience in Master Data Management across Material and/or Business Partner, and business-critical and functional data domains.
- Proven experience in driving Master Data Process Standardization and Harmonization in large ERP / S/4 transformations.
- Deep understanding of Master data operating models and role-based data ownership between business, data operations and IT.
- Operational business processes knowledge across Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality etc
- Experience in leading and Improving Master Data Operations at scale, ensuring high data reliability, operational efficiency and enterprise readiness.
- Drive continuous improvements of Master Data process by identifying structural inefficiencies, eliminating rework and increasing straight-trough processing.
- Ability to review current Master Data processes with a transformation lens and driving improvements without any disruptions.
- Experience defining, tracking and operationalizing KPIs, SLAs and Capacity Models for Master Data teams.
- Working knowledge of SAP / MDG data models, governance framework and data standards along with the E2E business processes in MDG and S4.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management (SD, MM, LE, PP, SCM) is desirable.
- Experience in working with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, or other data and analytics tools is preferred.
