As a Master Data Specialist specializing in Material Creation and Maintenance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the completeness and consistency of material data within our organization. Your attention to detail and willingness to learn will be essential in handling the creation, completion, and maintenance of materials to support our business operations effectively. Working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders you will gather data and inputs and ensure a high level of data accuracy and integrity.

What You Will Do
- The creation and maintenance of material data in our systems, adhering to established data management processes and standards.
- Ensure that all material records are completed with accurate and up-to-date information, including ordering information, pricing, and availability.
- Validate data accuracy in line with business rules and query any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the procurement team specialist to ensure material data aligns with pricing, lead times, and other supplier information.
- Ensure the timely creation and maintenance of materials.
- Follow data management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report on your ongoing requests with open and honest communication to requesters and stakeholders.
- You will be expected under instruction to support other specialist teams during high workload situations.
Key Skills Required
- Higher education or similar work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Office programs (especially Excel) and SAP
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, under supervision or collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement in data management practices.
- Familiarity with inventory and procurement processes is advantageous.
- Proven experience in data management, material creation, or related roles a plus.
- Knowledge of Atlassian programs (Confluence and JIRA) or other ticketing systems is advantageous.
