We are looking for: 

Master Data Management & Governance Consulting Manager 

As an MDM Manager, you will take endtoend responsibility for leading complex MDM and data governance engagements for Polish and international clients. You will shape MDM strategies, lead multidisciplinary delivery teams, advise senior stakeholders and actively contribute to the development of PwC’s MDM offering. 

 

Your future role: 

  • Own and lead MDM and data governance engagements, ensuring delivery of measurable business outcomes aligned with client strategy, 

  • Advise senior business and IT stakeholders on enterprisewide MDM strategies, target operating models and transformation roadmaps, 

  • Design and institutionalize MDM and data governance frameworks, including organizational structures, roles (e.g. Data Owners, Data Stewards), RACI models, policies and standards, 

  • Oversee endtoend master data processes across domains (e.g. Customer, Product, Supplier, Reference Data), ensuring consistency, scalability and regulatory compliance, 

  • Guide the definition and validation of master data models, hierarchies and attributes, balancing business needs with system constraints, 

  • Define and govern data quality management approaches, including KPIs, monitoring models, reporting, remediation processes and escalation paths, 

  • Shape highlevel MDM solution architectures and act as a trusted advisor during platform selection, implementation and optimization (e.g. SAP MDG, Stibo, Informatica, Ataccama), 

  • Manage client relationships at senior and executive level; prepare and deliver Clevel presentations, steering committees, demos and presales sessions, 

  • Lead, mentor and develop consulting teams; provide quality assurance of deliverables and support professional growth of junior colleagues, 

  • Contribute to business development through proposal writing, solution shaping, thought leadership and collaboration with technology partners. 

 

Apply, if you have: 

  • 7+ years of professional experience in the MDM and data governance area, including leadership roles in consulting or complex client environments, 

  • Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprisescale MDM solutions across multiple master data domains, 

  • Strong expertise in MDM governance and operating model design, including organizational change and stakeholder enablement, 

  • Deep understanding of master data lifecycle management, data modeling, validation rules and data quality management, 

  • Handson experience with at least one leading MDM platform (e.g. SAP MDG, Stibo, Informatica, Ataccama), 

  • Ability to independently lead executive workshops, steer discussions and influence senior business and IT decisionmakers, 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of new technologies and AIpowered tools in your daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content creation), 

  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and English (C1+), including executive storytelling and structured problem solving, 

  • Strong ownership mindset, ability to manage multiple workstreams and accountability for engagement success. 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Endtoend responsibility for large MDM / MDG transformations (operating model, domains, processes, tool selection, integrations), 

  • Handson experience with SAP ERP and SAP MDG implementations, 

  • Professional proficiency in German, enabling direct collaboration with Germanspeaking clients, 

  • Experience shaping data strategies and governance models for modern data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake), 

  • Familiarity with recognized Data Management and Data Governance frameworks.
