What You Will Do:

CSMC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Master Black Belt to solve complex problems utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles to transform the business. The position offers the opportunity to join a highly technical team that works collaboratively to solve problems and drive change. The candidate must be self-motivated, able to quickly build trusting relationships, and develop the Lean Six Sigma skillset across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will consult, train, and mentor Green Belts, Black Belts, and Master Black Belts on their Lean Six Sigma journey.
  • Candidate will lead and manage portfolio of Six Sigma projects align with business delivery, quality, and cost targets.
  • Candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes, eliminate variation, and drive sustainable process improvements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and translate data into insight to guide fact-based decisions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.   Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • ASQ Master Black Belt Certification or similar

Qualification We Prefer:

  • Preferred experience: Aerospace manufacturing, rotating hardware, IBRs, fan/compressor airfoils, continuous improvement projects, MRL (manufacturing readiness levels) and project leadership.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
