Job Description:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting mascot performers in and out of costume as needed, escorting the mascot during events, ensuring performers safety and positive interactions with fans.
Communicate with the point of contact at each on-site and off-site appearance the day of the event and being the voice of the mascot(s) as needed.
Capturing high-quality photos and videos at mascot appearances and promptly sending them to management for review and use in future promotional materials.
Managing any issues or emergencies that may arise during the mascot's performance, including ensuring the mascot performers safety at all times and deescalating situations when necessary.
Actively participating in team meetings, contributing to the development of marketing ideas and strategies.
Exhibiting flexibility and availability for last-minute schedule changes, holidays, and weekends.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role or in customer service is preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to handle unexpected situations professionally and effectively.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. The position involves significant movement and physical activity.
