We are seeking a dynamic Leadership & Management Development Leader to join our Marsh Global Learning team. At Marsh, we believe all our colleagues are leaders. This individual will own and elevate our leadership and people manager curriculum across the Marsh organization to build the capabilities that will enable us to thrive today and tomorrow.

This role is responsible for end-to-end curriculum strategy for new and existing programs, leading a small internal team, and partnering closely with HR, business leaders, and external providers to ensure a cohesive learning experience that helps us thrive and achieve our vision to be the most trusted professional services firm.

You will translate strategic priorities into measurable learning journeys, embed inclusive leadership and on-the-job transfer activities, and act as a thought leader—using evidence, evaluation, and best practices to continuously improve manager capability and leadership outcomes at scale across our businesses. This role reports to the Global Learning Leader and is part of the Careers Center of Excellence within our People Experience function of Human Resources.

This role requires working from our NYC office at least three days a week.

We will count on you to:

  • Define and maintain a cohesive leadership and people-manager curriculum based on critical skills and our Leadership Mindset spanning all-colleagues and early, mid-level, and senior people and business leaders.
  • Partner with the Design Team to develop and deliver scalable, experiential development solutions and role- and skill-based learning journeys, that build core capabilities such as people management, performance conversations, decision-making, influencing, change leadership, and inclusive leadership. including blended learning, cohort-based programs, action-learning projects, coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job assignments
  • Ensure that learning objectives, course content, facilitator guides, assessments, and job aids are maintained and updated to reflect our business challenges, using adult learning best practices.
  • Consistently evaluate the impact, consistency and quality of our enterprise leadership & management programs, that are delivered across multiple delivery formats (in-person, virtual instructor-led, open-enrollment and cohort-based)
  • Partner with the design team to ensure the development of new leadership development solutions address business needs, meet learner objectives, and foster behavior change and skill adoption back on the job.
  • Ensure transfer-of-learning activities (action plans, coaching, leader sponsorship, AI adoption) are embedded and tracked.
  • Contribute alongside your Learning Leadership Team peers to shape and deploy a global learning strategy that develops the capabilities our colleagues need to succeed today and tomorrow
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of learning advisors and program managers
  • Set priorities, allocate resources, manage performance, and foster a collaborative, innovative culture focused on outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with HR & Talent Partners, People Experience COE teams, and business leaders to ensure curriculum relevance, adoption and engagement.
  • Champion best practices and a standard deployment of programs to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience and successful program execution across the enterprise.
  • Gather and assess data, as well as input from HR & Talent partners to inform annual delivery forecasts and work with Learning Operations to strategically and proactively meet business demand, manage resources and budget.
  • Leverage learner feedback, behavioral data, and people analytics to sustain and maximize the impact of existing programs and identify curriculum gaps
  • Pilot new programs and help scale new modalities (simulations, AI-enabled tools, adaptive learning, experiential programs) to enhance impact and encourage on-the-job adoption.
  • Prepare, assess and evaluate program faculty to ensure high-impact delivery of our courses.
  • Partner with the Learning Ops team to ensure effective program administration, enrollment, and learning operations
  • Partner with our Learning Activation team to ensure clear communications and marketing materials: value propositions, manager briefs, participant guides, and executive updates to help promote our offerings and sustain learner engagement
  • Foster adoption, cross-functional collaboration, and sustained practices through leadership networks, forums, and communities of practice.

What you need to have:  

  • A Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business, or related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in leadership development, manager development, organizational capability, or related L&D/OD roles, including responsibility for curriculum or program portfolios.
  • At least 5 years leading and developing a team.

  • Ability to define and measure program outcomes and use data to drive decisions.
  • Experience building and maintaining productive relationships across teams, the business, and functions.
  • Background in professional services, financial services, or other global professional organizations.
  • Strategic mindset: translates business strategy into pragmatic learning solutions and roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder influence that builds credibility with peers and senior leaders and navigates matrixed decision-making.
  • Trusted facilitator, coach, and advisor for managers, leaders, and team members.
  • Data-driven: uses qualitative and quantitative insights to iterate and demonstrate impact.
  • Proven project and program manager that delivers on time, on budget, and at scale with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator and storyteller, skilled at creating persuasive, executive-level materials.
  • Adaptable: comfortable operating in ambiguity and scaling initiatives across geographies and cultures.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $100,700 to $201,600.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
