The ideal candidate brings experience in Financial or Asset Services and Capital Markets products and will partner closely with Market Operations, Technology, Business Risk Management, and Compliance. Reporting to the NA Product Manager, this role requires strong initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. The Markets Operations Excellence team is seeking a Vice President with strong product ownership, process re‑engineering, and business analysis expertise to support and evolve client onboarding and account setup services. This role is responsible for delivering solutions aligned with Markets onboarding strategy and data integration requirements across downstream consumers. The onboarding lifecycle spans new account and portfolio onboarding, portfolio lifecycle events, and static data maintenance. The position plays a key role in driving middle‑ and back‑office innovations that streamline end‑to‑end integration, servicing, and interoperability for Markets clients.

What you will be responsible for
As Markets Operations Product Owner you will be responsible for
Own assigned initiatives, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues through delivery
Partner with Risk and Compliance to proactively manage processing risk and embed appropriate controls
Collaborate with Technology, Client Success, Operations, and Risk teams to ensure aligned and effective product delivery
Define business problems and design solutions through detailed process mapping and analysis using tools such as Visio and ARIS
Assess end‑to‑end processes to reduce manual touchpoints, eliminate bottlenecks, and strengthen controls
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs
Define, measure, and track KPIs and KRIs across key milestones
Manage project plans and milestone delivery to ensure deadlines are clearly defined and met
Coordinate activities across multiple initiatives and stakeholder groups
Identify, escalate, and resolve risks and issues, driving timely decision‑making and progress to resolution
Act as a liaison across workstreams to drive alignment on plans, status, and risk reporting
Own and prioritize the Jira backlog, incorporating client and stakeholder feedback
Ensure test plans are comprehensive and clearly documented
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm solutions meet business requirements and support successful releases
Support strategic initiatives, including market research, technology enhancements, and ad hoc requests
Influence outcomes and lead through collaboration without direct management authority
Apply strong reference data product knowledge across portfolio, entity, and static data domains using workflow‑driven, event‑based processes
Leverage deep understanding of front‑to‑back investment management and investment services across asset classes
Communicate program and project status to senior management and stakeholders on a regular and ad hoc basis

Education & Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Financial or Asset Services as a program manager or product owner, delivering high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives across global teams and business units
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, or an equivalent field
Strong understanding of risk management, controls, and controls design frameworks
Solid knowledge of the institutional marketplace, asset classes, and investment product offerings
Professional certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, Six Sigma, Lean, or Change Management are preferred
