About the role
This role supports the delivery of Dyson’s global marketplace strategy by leading a global Center of Excellence (COE) for marketplaces and digital retailers, defining strategic frameworks, governance models, and capability programs that enable markets to scale digital commerce effectively and consistently.
As Marketplace & Digital Retailers COE, you will act as a partner to market teams, supporting shelf excellence, execution quality, discoverability, and conversion optimisation across third-party platforms.
Accountabilities
You’ll own:
- Governance frameworks and executional support for digital shelf excellence on key marketplace platforms.
- Global toolkits and playbooks, enabling consistent marketplace execution across markets.
- Retail media and digital merchandising best practices across marketplaces.
- Measurement frameworks and reporting standards for content quality and execution excellence.
- Development of a global marketplace insights hub consolidating learnings, trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain global standards for digital shelf excellence including content structure, SEO, images, rating & reviews, and conversion best practices.
- Develop global frameworks for retail media activation across platforms, including performance measurement, investment principles and optimisation approaches.
- Create scalable playbooks for executional excellence and performance improvement across markets.
- Implement global analytics frameworks to monitor third-party performance, share of shelf, category visibility, and media effectiveness.
- Consolidate markets’ insights to identify systemic performance drivers, growth opportunities and emerging risks.
- Partner with Marketing, Commercial and IT teams to embed third-party retailers into broader digital initiatives.
- Lead the cross-market Test & Learn roadmap.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across markets through communities, training sessions and upskilling programs.
About you
- Proven experience working with marketplace or third-party eCommerce channels in a merchandising/media role
- Deep understanding of digital retailers ecosystems, including digital shelf dynamics and retail media.
- Proven ability to design scalable frameworks, governance models and operating standards across multiple markets.
- Strong analytical capability with experience defining performance metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Ability to translate digital trends into actionable initiatives.
- Growth mindset with curiosity for emerging digital commerce models and marketplace innovation.
