This position in Global Business Travel (GBT) represents an exciting opportunity to drive governance and application of commercial strategy in an emerging sector. The applicant will be responsible for ensuring GBT has the right vendors, along with the appropriate protections to meet our customer needs across a range of marketplace areas such as duty of care, online booking tools and approval  processes

The role sits on the supplier side of the organisation, within the Global Business Partnerships (GBP) team. This team is a strategic component of the business model and value proposition for GBT, contributing significantly to revenue generation and customer value.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for execution of strategy aimed at ensuring GBT has the right vendors to meet our customer marketplace needs, taking into account quality of service offered, data protection and other core requirements
• Strong engagement with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on and successful execution of marketplace partnerships strategy  
• Standing up a robust governance process to ensure future proofing of marketplace partnerships strategy  
• Providing regular updates to senior leadership on progress through presentations focused on key performance indicators
• Managing multiple projects at once and prioritizing accordingly

• Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners
• Ability to work across time zones
• This role will include a direct report
• Candidate is responsible for the processes and workflows described above and generally will work autonomously, subject to feedback from constituents and coaching and guidance from his/her manager
