Position Summary 
Responsible for providing sales support to insurance agents, including frequent outbound and inbound calls to touch base with the agent base, strengthen relationships, and follow up on various marketing campaigns. Acts as a primary point of contact for agents by delivering timely and accurate policy illustrations, coordinating the distribution of state‑specific and compliance‑required forms, and supplying educational and point‑of‑sale materials to support agent sales efforts. Serves as a liaison between carriers and agents to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and ensure smooth onboarding, underwriting, and policy servicing processes.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage in frequent inbound and outbound calls to touch base with the agent base, identify needs quickly, and maintain strong working relationships, including follow‑up calls related to ongoing marketing and sales campaigns.

  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively elicit and assess an agent’s needs with speed, professionalism, and composure in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Respond to agent inquiries related to service requests, policy status, and issue resolution through clear and timely verbal and written communication.

  • Manage routine service and sales support calls by providing agents with accurate illustrations, marketing materials, educational resources, and required documentation; escalate or refer agents to qualified, licensed representatives when appropriate.

  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service with a strong commitment to quality, responsiveness, and agent satisfaction.

  • Utilize web‑based systems and digital tools to efficiently locate, distribute, and explain online documents, resources, and carrier information to agents as needed.

  • Assist, when necessary, in the development, documentation, and ongoing improvement of operational procedures to support efficient and effective sales and service workflows.

  • Provide backup support to Regional Directors and deliver marketing and sales support to large agencies and their affiliated agents as needed.

  • Collaborate with internal teams by providing input and support related to new product launches, sales initiatives, and process enhancements.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, individual meetings, and training sessions to support communication, alignment, and continuous improvement.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support department and organizational objectives.


Qualifications

  • Previous Insurance experience is preferred but not necessary

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written

  • Customer service skills

  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Organized and can prioritize tasks

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

  • High School degree minimum

  • Must possess proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Window-based applications

  • Proven to be highly dependable and self-motivator

 The general pay scale for this open position is $23.00 -$25.00.  Pay for a selected candidate will be determined within the pay scale based on one or more of the following factors: candidate’s experience, skill set, education level, and/or location.
