As a Marketing Specialist, you will be part of a select team focused on planning, organizing, and tracking outcomes for elite campaigns globally. You will work with multiple groups across Zayo to ensure proper planning and execution of campaigns and marketing programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Devise marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing product awareness and increasing funnel development in specific geography.

  • Work closely with marketing and sales executive teams to create programs

  • Support the organize and execute marketing and sales programs.

  • Engage with sales closely to ensure campaign adoption

  • Ensure all data is relevant for all campaigns with in SalesForce

  • Manage Key Contact data for all events.

  • Understand market trends

  • Determine importance/priority of events based on company pillars and business initiatives

  • Track and capture leads for Sales to engage throughout the entire event process

  • Manage and create budgets

  • Negotiate with multiple vendors to ensure best costs

  • Track and report on campaign success and progression.

  • Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and information source for company

  • Act as the point person for outside and partner sales teams within geography

  • Experience of working within a demanding fast-paced environment to very high standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Energetic and team-oriented.

  • Some College or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, punctual, and well organized. Must be detail oriented.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Willing to travel up to 30%

  • Minimum of three (3) years of event marketing experience

  • Great Positive Attitude!

 

  Estimated base salary range: $53,300 - $82,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
