Job Summary

As a Marketing Specialist on our Go-To-Market Campaigns Team, you’ll be at the heart of bringing Southwest Airlines’ brand and business objectives to life. In this role, you’ll help plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns that drive commercial success across multiple business areas. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and coordinate feedback to ensure every initiative is delivered with precision and impact. Your work directly shapes how Southwest connects with Customers and achieves its strategic goals, making you an essential part of a Team that turns big ideas into measurable results.

Responsibilities
  • Intake, coordinate, assemble and communicate requirements for projects while working with team members to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Work directly with marketing leadership to develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate marketing team needs across agencies, contractors, and internal teams
  • Support team members in managing projects to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Maintain constant and concise communication of assigned marketing-related programming with internal and external partners
  • Build and apply knowledge of marketing and commercial objectives to projects
  • Manage small and medium requests for go-to-market teams
  • Research and analyze relevant data, providing a point-of-view, to inform decisions for marketing campaigns
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

  • Knowledge of how to organize details and complete projects promptly
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled in time management and multitasking, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers to establish a foundation for collaboration
  • Ability to deliver quality work with attention to detail and accuracy
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience
  • Entry level experience, developing skills and knowledge in:
    • Marketing
    • Preferred experience: Project Management

    • Preferred experience: Researching and analyzing data to help make informed decisions for marketing campaigns 

Licensing/Certification
  • N/A

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $60,650.00 per year to $67,400.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
