The Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the development and day-to-day execution of advanced, data-driven marketing strategies for each assigned client area within the Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare system. This role requires expertise in both digital and traditional marketing, along with the ability to leverage analytics in order to optimize multi-channel campaigns. In addition to leading cross-functional collaborations, this role will develop annual strategic plans, report campaign performance directly to key stakeholders, and work to ensure that ongoing efforts provide high-impact, results-driven outcomes aligned with the healthcare system's strategic goals. A Brief Overview
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the development and day-to-day execution of advanced, data-driven marketing strategies for each assigned client area within the Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare system. This role requires expertise in both digital and traditional marketing, along with the ability to leverage analytics in order to optimize multi-channel campaigns. In addition to leading cross-functional collaborations, this role will develop annual strategic plans, report campaign performance directly to key stakeholders, and work to ensure that ongoing efforts provide high-impact, results-driven outcomes aligned with the healthcare system's strategic goals. What you will do

  • Develops annual marketing plans, ensuring strategic alignment, timely execution, and effective budget management across assigned service areas.
  • Leads the day-to-day coordination and execution of marketing initiatives, driving both strategic direction and creative development to deliver impactful, outcome-focused campaigns.
  • Monitors the performance of marketing campaigns and adjusts strategies, as needed, to improve effectiveness and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversees paid search and paid social media advertising campaigns, in partnership with external resources, and the creation of dedicated landing pages to drive engagement among target audiences.
  • Partner with internal teams to support sponsorship initiatives and event planning.
  • Works with communications, marketing, and web team members to ensure cohesive execution across messaging, audience targeting, and digital experience.
  • Represents the marketing department in both in-person and virtual client meetings with a emphasis on relationship building and clear communication.
  • Reviews marketing content for accuracy, clarity and brand consistency, while also ensuring all materials and marketing activities meet healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Prepares performance reports and presentations to share campaign results, strategic insights, and marketing impact to system stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested, contributing to the broader success of the marketing team and organizational goals.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing
  • Bachelor's Degree Communications
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Management
  • Bachelor's Degree Advertising

Experience Qualifications

  • 1-3 years Healthcare environment
  • 3-5 years Business, marketing, communications, nonprofit management, development or related field
  • Substitution: High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of experience in business, marketing or communications in lieu of education and experience requirements.

Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of core marketing principles including branding, positioning, segmentation, and campaign strategy.
  • Proven track record of leveraging business intelligence and market research to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Understands emerging trends in marketing, usage of cutting-edge tools and AI technologies to enhance strategic impact and operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in multi-channel marketing, with proven success evaluating and optimizing marketing campaigns for measurable impact across all channels.
  • Able to drive cross-functional collaboration and project execution, aligning team efforts with business goals and delivering clear updates to stakeholders.
  • Detail oriented with proven project management skills, able to manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaniously, ensuring high-quality execution and ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Understands and utilizes customer journey mapping to inform personalized, customer-centric marketing initiatives.
  • Strong copywriting and editing abilities for digital content, email campaigns and printed promotional materials.

Supervision Provided by this Position

  • There are no supervisory responsibilities assigned to this position. However, the incumbent works as a project leader and often coordinates with Marketing, Digital and Communications staff members on both short and long-term projects.

Physical Demands

  • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
  • Must have good balance and coordination.
  • The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
  • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
  • The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
