Title and Summary
Marketing specialist
Mastercard Data & Services provides cutting-edge data analysis and consulting services to Fortune 500s, governments, and nonprofits to make multimillion-dollar business decisions and grow their organizations. Our Advisors Client Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Mastercard Advisors works with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Marketing consultants lead the strategy development and implementation of campaigns and engagements for clients. They use customer data to provide deep direct marketing expertise across channels, evaluating campaign results and adapting the approach to optimize marketing performance. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, we work closely with marketing teams in the largest banks, payment solution providers, and retailers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
Collaborate with Mastercard team to understand clients’ needs, agenda, and risks
Create marketing campaign strategies to meet client objectives
Be a voice of customer to help clients understand marketing opportunities to pursue
Work with suppliers such as marketing agencies to create communication concepts, marketing tactics and activities
Lead marketing projects and campaigns end to end, including events, promotional campaigns, or market-wide initiatives
Navigate clients across a complexity of marketing trends to identify opportunities for their brands to grow across various costumer segments
Develop working relationship with client stakeholders, and act as trusted and reliable partner
Provide creative input and support deliverables and workstreams on projects across a range of industries and problem statements
Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and activities for regional and global clients by working with technology and data
Team Collaboration & Culture
Collaborate with senior project delivery consultants to identify key findings, prepare effective presentations, and deliver recommendations to clients
Independently identify issues in defined area of analysis, and structure and synthesize own analysis to highlight relevant findings
Lead internal and client meetings, and contribute to project management
Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital
Receive mentorship from consulting leaders for professional growth and development
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
Undergraduate degree with work experience focused on one or more of the following fields: marketing content, digital and/or social media campaigns, digital customer experience, digital marketing, offline marketing activities/campaigns, direct marketing, marketing research, marketing communication and PR
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in marketing
Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Czech or Slovak language is a must
Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
Preferred qualifications
Additional marketing experience in one or more of the following fields: marketing and campaign experience from agency environment, account management, project management, marketing and/or management consulting
Relevant experience in working with vendors and suppliers such as marketing agencies and media, and/or business development
Experience in leading projects, communicating with client stakeholders, preparing project outcomes, presenting ideas and project results
Ability to create visually appealing presentations that effectively sell ideas
Ability to identify problems, brainstorm and analyze answers, and implement the best solutions
