Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a BCA Sales Director (Level 6) to support the Latin America and Caribbean Region. This position is located in Renton, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Position reports to the region’s Sales Vice President, who is accountable for BCA revenue generation for the region.
  • Develops and manages the Sales strategic plans for the accounts supported while performing to agreed-upon objectives that support the VP’s revenue plan.
  • Coordinates development of regional sales strategy.
  • Shares knowledge and experience and is a key resource to win/close sales competitions.
  • Uses resources and knowledge of Boeing products, services, processes and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth.
  • Creates, maintains and advances customer relationships to become a trusted business partner.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, requirements and related topics to gain competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal Boeing resources to keep all parties apprised of key issues.
  • Provides case analysis, develops and obtains authorization to proceed with customer solutions.
  • Leads sales and campaign activities by implementing strategies and tactics to foster business growth with acceptable margins.
  • Assists in preparing proposals by developing themes and discriminators and reviewing the statement of work, cost estimates, executive summary and pricing.
  • Researches, reviews and analyzes information about competitors' products and services.
  • Leverages competitive position to secure customer commitments on behalf of The Boeing Company.
  • Requires executives to collaborate with airline customer organizations at the senior executive level.
  • Establishes specific strategies for key customers and for the region; find opportunities, required resources and executive involvement plan.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with airline customers, including an understanding of the airline’s strategy.
  • Works with country government and community officials, as well as world-wide aerospace and business senior executives.
  • Partners with Corporate, BDS, BG, Customer Finance, Government Relations and other internal/external groups to produce the best aggregate Boeing solution.
  • Responsible for driving and influencing the aerospace industry for their region of the world.
  • Responsible for BCA revenue generation and meeting or exceeding the yearly order plan (quantity and quality) for the region.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
  • Experience using critical business and financial acumen in order to influence and shape strategy
  • 10+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and partnerships across functions
  • 10+ years of experience in the aviation industry within sales, marketing or a technical function
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships across all levels of customer, government involvement, and Boeing
  • Able to independently develop and complete an integrated BCA Sales Strategy
  • Demonstrated passion for safety and the creation of a safe business culture
  • Ability to successfully lead a multi-functional global sales team
  • Strong Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead team to achieve sales
  • Able to communicate in Spanish/Portuguese

Summary pay range: $204,000 - $241,000
