Summary: Hendrick Motorsports, a championship-winning NASCAR operation, is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Project Coordinator responsible to assist with project-based sales and marketing initiatives. Projects will be focused on the continued advancement of the marketing department’s sales and marketing capabilities under the direction of the Marketing Project Supervisor. The role requires the candidate to be self-motivated, highly organized, decisive, and demonstrate a high level of ingenuity, integrity and accountability. Some weekend travel will be required as part of the position to assist with at-track needs.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Requires technical marketing skills and a demonstrated ability to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, and creatively solve issues that arise. Requires an ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Certificates and Licenses:
√ Valid Driver’s License
Computer Skills:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Requires an ability to develop visually compelling PowerPoint presentations.
Communication Skills:
Requires an excellent ability to communicate successfully at many levels within the organization and to corporate partners at various levels in their organization. Proven ability to lead people and get results through others.
Attendance Expectations:
The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Role is not remote and must regularly be performed in the assigned office location. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Travel by air or car to events meetings may be required.
Physical Demands:
Requires vision (near, distance, color), sense of touch, and ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – eye and hearing protection at the track. Frequently sits and manually manipulates. Occasionally stands, walks, reaches outward, reaches above shoulder, climbs, crawls, squats or kneels, bends, lifts/carries up to 100+ pounds, and pushes/pulls up to 100 pounds.
Environment Demands:
Primarily works indoors during office hours. May be required to be present at the track throughout the course of the season, in which would be exposed to the outdoors, fumes, uneven ground, and other track related hazards.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Must be detail-oriented and able to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate project requirements and expectations.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Strong mathematical skills required.
Reasoning Ability:
Strong planning and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and organize multiple priorities. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. Understands media measurement and analytical tools.
