DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Marketing Operations and Governance is part of the Marketing Strategy, Operations & Enablement Team and responsible for the campaign management framework, creative reviews, and supporting cross-functional Marketing teams in executing strategic programs aimed at transforming our operations to deliver speed, agility, and control monitoring.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Operations & Governance Intern/Co-op will gain hands on experience in supporting governance, controls and procedural frameworks for a best-in-class organization, representing one of Canada's top brands. This unique opportunity will allow you to develop skills in process optimization, governance frameworks, and operational analytics while collaborating with cross functional teams across Marketing and other business units.
Support the governance of marketing procedures by ensuring alignment with compliance and operational risk standards.
Assist in management of documentation, review and enhancement of marketing procedures and guidelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing Organization to ensure controls are effectively implemented and maintained within marketing operations.
Help develop requirements for utilizing GenAI/AI tools” across the organization and ensure alignment with the governance and compliance standards.
Analyze data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improving procedural effectiveness.
The internship offers real world marketing experience and an opportunity to network with seasoned professionals in the field who are passionate about building modern marketers.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the marketing team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with an undergraduate degree or diploma in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce, or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term.
Proficiency in social media platforms and familiarity with marketing tools like Google Analytics are beneficial but not required.
Strong attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a desire to learn.
A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communication skills to influence, prioritize, and multitask in a collaborative or independent setting.
Possess great execution and project management skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong relationship management skills
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook.
Bilingual is an asset both written and Oral.

This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 4th – August 21st, 2026.
