Marketing Manager

The Manager, Marketing for Sharp Clinical Services will be responsible for the end-to-end development, execution, and performance measurement of integrated marketing plans and campaigns. This role will drive lead generation (MQL pipeline) and overall brand awareness for the clinical business, ensuring alignment with Sharp’s overall marketing and business development goals and demonstrating a clear Return on Investment (ROI).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to development of marketing strategy, positioning and value proposition of the clinical business.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to deliver agreed sales & marketing goals in support of VP of Clinical BD in conjunction with broader marketing team
  • Identify and assess appropriate marketing channels for Clinical service verticals to reach agreed target markets
  • Identify and manage attendance at industry events & tradeshows with associated supporting logistics, promotion and communications. 
  • Guide research and analysis of market and competitor landscape
  • Establish metrics and dashboards, distributing this information via regular reporting to all key stakeholders on a monthly or as needed basis. 
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to create targeted content to attract new leads through social media, blog posts, and webinars, in alignment with agreed marketing strategy
  • Support the design and development of corporate presentations for BD purposes
  • Contribute to the updating of website pages to optimize lead generation and conversions.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns as part integrated outreach campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in marketing, communications or marketing-related discipline
  • At least three (3) years in a marketing/sales environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing concepts and principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new software tools quickly and efficiently
  • Creative ability with some graphic design proficiency and experience, including Canva, Adobe suite or equivalent. Video editing a plus.
  • Some experience with website CMS, such as WordPress
  • Some experience with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp
  • Excellent understanding of the principles of SEM (paid and organic SEO) and digital analytical tools such as GA
  • Has the ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet critical timelines.
  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong networking skills with an ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders

Language Skills:

Strong ability to read, write and comprehend the English language, read and interpret legal and technical documents, and write routine correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the company. Good interpersonal skills.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to think creatively, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into technical/scientific deliverables. Must be able to review data and documentation (i.e. batch records, production metrics) and summarize for clients in a digestible way. Ability to anticipate and resolve client concerns (i.e. timelines, scope changes, deviations) while balancing expectations with regulatory, operational and technical realities. Navigate competing priorities between internal stakeholders and client demands.

Must be willing to travel up to 10% (domestic) to other Sharp locations and/or client or vendor locations as needed. Will be required to travel by automobile, plane, train, or other forms of public transportation. Must be able to assess, navigate, and exchange accurate information to arrive at and depart from various locations to conduct business. Ability to uphold the stress of traveling.

Environmental Conditions

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

This position is afforded the benefit of working in a hybrid arrangement. As a member of Sharp’s Marketing, this role must have an on-site presence, averaging at least two (2) days on site on a weekly basis. Business needs may require this position to be onsite more than two (2) days per week with or without notice. Working remotely must be done in a dedicated, quiet workspace with minimal distractions and/or interruptions.
