The Role: Marketing Manager 12 month FTC

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the marketing execution behind the repositioning of PruFund, the UK’s largest and longest-standing smoothed fund. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we communicate the refreshed messaging of the PruFund range – centred on the three ‘S’s: Scale, Structure, and Smoothing – to UK advisers that are both existing supporters and new audiences.

While the primary focus is on PruFund, the successful candidate will ensure that its refreshed positioning is integrated within our broader investment proposition managed by the M&G Life Investment Office, including risk-managed active and passive fund ranges and our Model Portfolio Service.

This fixed-term role requires a strategic thinker that can develop compelling marketing collateral and content infrastructure that bring the new positioning to life, ensuring clarity, consistency and impact across all client touchpoints, on time and within budget. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Distribution and Proposition, the successful candidate will support the sales cycle by delivering assets that reinforce our value proposition and drive measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders in Marketing, Distribution and Proposition to bring to life the revised messaging of M&G’s range of retirement solutions, with a key focus on PruFund.
  • Develop and deliver compelling marketing collateral that effectively supports advisers across multiple segments (B2B) and their clients (B2B2C) through the recommendation journey.
  • Reflect an astute understanding of the sales process in the provision of effective support for the sales team.
  • Partner cross-functionally to integrate collateral within the broader go-to-market strategy and campaigns, ensuring cohesive delivery.
  • Coordinate and prioritise a large pipeline of marketing assets across multiple formats, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Utilise data visualisation tools to enhance storytelling and presentation.
  • Use measurement, evaluation and reporting on marketing collateral performance to inform and shape future plans.
  • Analyse data and feedback to continuously improve execution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in creating client-focused materials that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Experience in asset management and/or wider financial services is preferrable but not essential.
  • Demonstrable creativity in storytelling, format, key messaging and audience targeting.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate input from various teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of data visualisation tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
