What we are recruiting for:
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract for family leave cover to oversee the coordination, implementation and monitoring of marketing strategies and plans to support Bovis’ business objectives and enhance the company's external profile and reputation.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver marketing strategies for the business to meet targets.
- Manage and oversee the production of marketing collateral, including websites, brochures, social media campaigns, and events. Overseeing the preparation of budget and target setting, monitoring performance against quantifiable goals and objectives and developing recommendations accordingly.
- Be involved in the entire sales and marketing lifecycle, from bid to completion.
- Liaise with internal teams and JV partners to ensure marketing activities are on time and on budget.
- Monitor and analyse sales market and competitor activity, formulating strategies and providing expert input and recommendations on the development of marketing plans and key initiatives to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Maintain current knowledge and awareness of marketing and communications developments and trends, ensuring the development and execution of marketing initiatives in accordance with best practice industry standards and in compliance with applicable legislation.
Experience & background:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing and branding combined with experience across multiple roles.
- Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned with business goals.
- Experience in designing and implementing marketing initiatives and/or knowledge and in-depth understanding of marketing and event management.
- Problem solving, technical and analytical skills with the ability to work through complex issues and guide others in the resolution of problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing websites (CMS), social media, email marketing, and digital analytics.
- Ability to create and manage high-quality marketing materials, with experience using design tools like the Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Excellent command of written and verbal communication, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships and work effectively with various teams, including sales, management, and external partners.
- A persuasive manner and tact are useful for influencing stakeholders.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Good organisation and planning skills to manage competing priorities and tasks effectively.
- Skill in setting and monitoring marketing budgets.
- The ability to develop creative marketing materials and campaigns.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Understanding of the specific needs, trends, and customers within the construction industry is a significant advantage.
