Overall description: The Event and Digital Manager will have two key roles:
1. Oversee the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of all congresses, events, and association meetings, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy and business objectives. This role will serve as a key link between events, advocacy, and sales teams, ensuring seamless collaboration to maximize the impact of each event. The Event Manager will drive event strategy to enhance brand presence, educate stakeholders, and generate business opportunities in the pharmaceutical diagnostics radiotracer space.
2. Is responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that leverage AI technologies to enhance customer engagement, streamline marketing automation, and improve campaign performance. This role manages the digital ecosystem, digital tech stack, and the integration of AI solutions to drive data-driven marketing initiatives.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Event Integration: Develop and execute an event strategy aligned with the broader marketing plan, product launches, and brand objectives. Work closely with marketing leadership to ensure events are an integral part of campaigns and market penetration efforts. Regularly evaluate event opportunities to prioritize those that align with key business goals.
- Event Execution and Oversight: Lead the planning and delivery of congresses, tradeshows, and association meetings, including vendor selection, budgeting, and logistics. Ensure events effectively showcase the company’s products and services, including booth design, messaging, and customer engagement activities. Monitor and measure the success of events against KPIs, such as lead generation, stakeholder education, and sales impact.
- Vendor and Partner Collaboration: Lead partnership with external vendors, event organizers, and agencies to ensure high-quality production and smooth execution of marketing activities. Manage contracts, timelines, and deliverables with partners.
- Budget Monitoring: Lead budgets for events and campaigns, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial plans.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track the performance of events and marketing campaigns, analyzing key metrics and providing insights to improve future initiatives. Prepare post-event and post-campaign reports for internal review.
- Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email campaigns. Use data insights to drive personalized customer engagement and improve ROI.
- Digital Tech Stack Optimization: Manage and optimize the digital marketing tech stack, including CRM, marketing automation platforms, data analytics tools, and AI solutions. Ensure seamless integration between systems to enable effective data-driven marketing.
- Creative Input and Content Development: Contribute creative ideas for marketing digital campaigns and events, helping to develop engaging content and promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
Key Capabilities:
- Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to link event planning to broader marketing and business objectives.
- Proficiency in managing a digital marketing tech stack, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Experience in integrating digital tools and platforms to create a and compliant and seamless digital ecosystem that supports marketing and customer engagement goals
- Experience managing high-profile events in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with marketing, advocacy, and sales teams.
- Exceptional project management, budgeting, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently and manage a dynamic workload.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in event planning, marketing campaigns, or a related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing events and supporting marketing campaigns.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and event management software preferred.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $109,600.00-$164,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
