The Marketing Manager, EISA Region is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership within the Marketing function, including responsibility for defining the product/service and market strategy and  life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.

We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Manager for our EISA region (Eastern Europe, Greece, Israel and South Africa) to be based in either Austria or Finland.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic and tactical management of products through various stages of lifecycle for above markets.

  • Launch and execute on new products and input into broader CAH portfolio.

  • Marketing Communications including, exhibitions, stand designing, digital strategy (Showpad) and appropriate assets to support local team.

  • Develop annual marketing plans according to business strategies, together with our partners/distributors, objectives and yearly targets; ensuring appropriate Clinical Education strategies in place working with Clinical Education Manager.

  • Assess market opportunities –“Go or No Go”.

  • Provide direction and co-ordinate efforts between all internal functions, including but not limited to Sales, EMEA & Global Marketing, Finance, Supply chain and Regulatory affairs.

  • Develop, review, approve, implement and monitor productivity of all promotional programs, in line with A&P budget.

  • Co-ordinate and communicate relevant information of products, competition, trends, market and strategies (internally and externally with our partners).

  • Make sure that the sales force has adequate product and procedure knowledge.

  • Support Bid & Tender Value Proposition and submissions with relevant Technical information.

  • Support via Field Visits and other means, the sales force to drive yearly targets and goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in business administration or marketing degree on similar level required; Alternatively, medical  or advanced nursing degree combined with medical products industry experience  

  • Demonstrated results and experience in Medical Products Marketing

  • Minimum of 3 years healthcare marketing experience with a medical products company

  • Demonstrates in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in product/marketing management in Europe

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time

  • Good understanding of healthcare systems in European markets in Central- and South Europe, ideally also in South Africa and Israel

  • Understanding pricing strategies in the above-mentioned markets

  • Experience in working with distributors

  • Analytical thinking: systematic gathering, organization and synthesizing of relevant information.

  • Results achievement: ability to identify and respond quickly to opportunities and difficulties, or to take action including organizing future intended action

  • Customer and Marketplace: ability and desire to anticipate and address the needs of customers (internal or external) and take action to meet their needs

  • Knowledge – Industry/Business/Clinical: knowledge and understanding of the business, its vision, mission, strategies, products, procedures and services as well as of the trends impacting the medical device industry.

  • Teamwork/Collaboration: ability and intention to work cooperatively and effectively with others toward shared goals.

  • Creativity: propensity to think outside the box in order to achieve optimal awareness engagement and improve uptake of new ideas and strategies
