About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
Salesforce continues to grow through strategic acquisitions that expand our products, customer reach, and capabilities. The Marketing M&A Integration Operations Sr. Manager plays a key role in making those acquisitions successful — supporting both the planning that happens during due diligence and the execution of marketing integrations after close.
This role bridges strategy and execution. You’ll coordinate marketing integration activities across functions, manage program timelines and budgets, and ensure that new acquisitions are set up for long-term growth through rigorous diligence. It’s a highly visible position that combines operational management, program leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
If you enjoy bringing structure to complex work, connecting dots across teams, and seeing your planning translate into real business impact, this role is for you.
You’ll play a key role in how Salesforce’s Marketing organization plans for and integrates new acquisitions — from diligence through post-close execution. Working closely with Marketing teams, Corporate Development, and cross-functional partners, you’ll help assess new companies before acquisition, plan how they’ll integrate into Salesforce, and operationalize the work that makes those plans real.
This role blends operational management, program leadership, and strategic execution. You’ll bring structure to complex initiatives, coordinate stakeholders across multiple teams, and ensure each integration advances Salesforce’s broader marketing and business objectives. This role is hybrid and will work out of the Salesforce office in Indianapolis, Chicago or Bellevue three days a week.
Lead Marketing Integration Operations: Manage planning and execution for new acquisitions, with a focus on scaling smaller strategic and tuck-in deals. Coordinate and track integration plans with clear owners and success measures.
Support M&A Diligence: Partner with Marketing M&A deal leads and Corporate Development during due diligence to gather and analyze marketing information such as org structures, budgets, and MarTech tools. Identify integration requirements, risks, and opportunities that inform deal and post-close decisions.
Drive Operational Excellence: Design and maintain repeatable processes, templates, and integration playbooks that improve efficiency, consistency, and data integrity across integrations.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a liaison across Marketing, Sales, Product, IT, and Finance teams, ensuring shared understanding, timely decisions, and cohesive execution throughout the deal lifecycle.
Support Strategic Planning and Reporting: Build and maintain integration dashboards and progress reports for Marketing leadership. Track key metrics, identify trends, and communicate outcomes clearly.
Budget and Resource Tracking: Manage integration budgets, purchase requests, and spending approvals to maximize cost efficiencies during the integration process.
7-10 years in marketing operations, program management, or M&A integration.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate work across multiple teams.
Strong project management skills with experience running multi-team initiatives.
Skilled at building structure and process in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Comfortable working cross-functionally and balancing multiple priorities.
Self-starter who takes ownership and thrives in dynamic, evolving situations.
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
Experience with Salesforce products and ecosystem.

Prior experience in Corporate Development or M&A integration.
Understanding of core marketing functions such as demand generation, events, content, and sales enablement.
