Role Summary:

  • The Marketing Intern is the collaborative partner to SEA Marketing Lead, driving key marketing initiatives and new therapeutic market orientation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support regional marketing Tactical initiatives

  • Drive mini project in market orientation and insight for new therapeutic area

  • Provide marketing admin support to Malaysia, VN, Phi sales and marketing department

  • In charge of all purchases with vendor

  • Responsible for receiving of goods

  • To create and maintain vendor in use and new vendors

  • To create, prepare and issue of PO and verify supplier invoice for payment

  • Follow up on order, monitor back-log to ensure timely deliveries

  • To arrange, monitor and co-ordinate both payment internal and externally

  • To co-ordinate marketing materials production and assets balance tracking

  • To maintain proper documentation

  • Other admin duties as assigned by management

Scope of Work:

  • In charge of operational needs for tactical marketing and market orientation projects

  • Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors

  • Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce time and cost

  • Work closely with sales and marketing Personnel to maximize and optimize resources capacity and efficiency

  • Source and form strategic supply base management and handles activities such as contract management, financial management and issue resolution

  • Plan and manage marketing assets’ inventory to achieve desired goals through broad knowledge of procurement good practices and tools

  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate superior

Qualification & Skills:

  • Ongoing Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical related field

  • On an exceptional basis, the role may require work on weekends for marketing events-related works

  • Accepts personal responsibility; self-motivated, demonstrates ownership for achieving results; consistently meets or exceeds goals; operates in accordance with Baxter’s global business practice standards; understands and promotes compliance with Baxter policy and legal obligations;

  • Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, flexible and “can do” mind-set.

  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written in English.

  • Computer literate in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Project management
