You’re a dynamic and capable individual, who has deep knowledge on analytical solutions to synthesize requirements and execute on data and business intelligence projects that enables high-quality, fact-based business decisions to drive better business outcomes. Provides advice on the configuration, functionality, and usability of data management, data analytics, and data visualization solutions. Supports the development of the strategy and roadmap for data quality and data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and the design and development of sophisticated decision support tools.

Must-haves:

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in data preparation, data analysis, and statistical toolsets including Advanced SQL, Power BI, Looker, LookML, Advanced Excel. Nice-to-have: GCP, Google Analytics, Python, SAS
  • Highly effective at working in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Well-developed project & time management skills to manage multiple parallel projects
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with peer teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically while working tactically
  • Ability to make decisions that are data driven

Analytics and Insights:

  • Leads and contributes to the design, implementation, and management of new analytics and reporting tools and solutions.
  • Design automated analytical solutions and produce dashboards to communicate insights effectively across various LOB partners.
  • Breaks down complex business problems and analyzes data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Structures data across multiple dimensions and integrates information from various sources to enhance analysis and reporting.
  • Monitors data pipelines, conducts quality tests, and resolves issues to ensure optimal functionality and data governance.

Communication & Stakeholder Enablement:

  • Builds visualizations and graphics to clearly present data-driven insights, trends, and facts.
  • Develops solutions aligned with business strategy and stakeholder needs, contributing to strategic initiatives.
  • Prepares and presents dashboards and visual reports to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights tailored to diverse business audiences.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, documents processes, and maintains operational procedures.

Salary:

$56,000.00 - $103,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
