Position Purpose:
Supports marketing, branding and event management efforts for State field offices, with responsibility for branding, local community relations and marketing. Works closely with the Director of Brand Marketing on full life cycle event coordination to promote our brand to multiple audiences.

• Manages all aspect of large scale event coordination, logistics, promotion, co-branding initiatives for corporate partners, event team management, and vendor liaison.

• Monitors communication performance and advocate changes where necessary to meet corporate goals and objectives.

• Ensures accuracy of material through research.

• Escalates concerns to key stakeholders regarding content that may need review.

• Applies approved corporate style and branding standards to ensure consistency in copy and design.

• Fulfills all approved event sponsorship request.

• Ensures all vendors have necessary forms on file.

• Works with corporate marketing team to develop ads by preset deadlines.

• Assists with Day of Service events, setup DOS Lunch and Learn meetings.

• Participates in cross-functional teams to help streamline a wide variety of processes, procedures, and interdepartmental communication.

• Attends monthly conference calls to discuss potential opportunities to increase notability in social media arena.

• Gathers and filters newsworthy internal and external events to promote via WellCare’s social media assets.

• Event photography management; ensures all event coordinators have proper release forms, submits media intake along with photos and forms to corporate.

• Writes and edits copy for social media posts, associate emails blasts and printed event collateral to ensure concise, clear, and audience appropriate communication is delivered.

• Coordinates internal events including, quarterly meeting planning, associate team building events, town hall planning, web cast setup and supervision, and annual summer and holiday events.

• Conceptualize and promote internal event themes to support WellCare’s core values.

• Ensures communication strategies are followed through by being consistent with brand marketing strategy.

• Generate and update reports to record, track and analyze the effectiveness of Media Intake Submissions and Journal Ad/Gala Sponsorship.

• Liaises with key stakeholders regarding event/special projects; coordinates photo shoots; arranges member and special guest appearances as needed.

• Coordinates with Stakeholders external Communications and Social Media teams on initiatives to increase reach and engagement on company’s soc
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

Education/Experience:
Required A High School or GED
Required or equivalent work experience

Preferred A Bachelor's Degree in a related field:
Candidate Experience: Required 2+ years of experience in Experience with marketing outreach, branding or marketing operations
Required 4+ years of experience in Event Planning

 

Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year

Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
