membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.
We believe that the mobile domain is a platform that plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.
Department Overview
Marketing Planning Department is an organization that leads the planning of Rakuten Mobile's plans and product strategies and their implementation.
The Payment Designing Department serves as the "heart" of Rakuten Mobile’s business, overseeing all payment and credit operations. From a marketing strategy perspective, we design the entire "flow of money"—encompassing billing, payments, and risk control—to drive strategic initiatives that balance profitability with an exceptional user experience.
Within this department, the Billing Planning Group supports the foundation of our business revenue by optimizing billing and payment processes through data-driven insights. Our core activities include:
- Proactive Risk Mitigation: Predicting user behavior to design and implement optimal preventive approaches.
- Advancing Collection Processes: Optimizing post-billing responses based on data analysis to build a framework for prompt and reliable recovery.
- Balancing Profit Maximization and User Convenience: Driving stable growth through data-backed strategies that ensure both business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Position Details
- Planning and implementing data-driven improvement initiatives, and measuring their effectiveness
- Planning UI/UX improvements for websites and printed materials
- Defining requirements and managing progress as the business owner for development projects
- Promoting projects with the participation of stakeholders both within and outside the Rakuten Group
- Designing new operations and improving existing operations
- Coordinating and negotiating with partner companies

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Project management experience
- Logical thinking and planning skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and project-driving skills, with the flexibility to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to flexibly respond to changes in the environment, and to lead solutions by running on one's own while coordinating with all related parties.

- Practical experience in project management
