About the role

We’re looking for a highly analytical and collaborative Marketing Data Analyst to drive performance insights across our marketing funnel. This role partners closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to turn marketing data into actionable strategies that accelerate growth, improve conversion, and inform investment decisions.

You’ll own the measurement framework for marketing performance — ensuring that campaigns, channels, and programs are optimized for impact and aligned with business goals. You will collaborate with peers in our Data Insights organization to visualize learnings and outcomes in executive dashboards. This position will report directly to the VP, Demand Generation at Appfire.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Work with Data Insights colleagues to design and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance metrics across campaigns, channels, and lifecycle stages.
  • Analyze trends in pipeline generation, conversion rates, lead quality, CAC, ROI, and attribution to guide data-driven decisions.
  • Partner with Demand Generation to test, measure, and optimize digital, content, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Develop a unified marketing measurement framework that connects top-of-funnel activity to revenue outcomes.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Insights

  • Work closely with the Customer Experience Manager to create NPS/CSAT insights and data packages.
  • Ensure consistent data definitions and accurate reporting across systems.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Campaign Managers to evaluate campaign impact and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Present insights and recommendations to marketing and executive leadership in a clear, actionable way.

Data Infrastructure & Optimization

  • Support data insights across marketing and sales platforms, ensuring accuracy and transparency in dashboards and attribution models.
  • Support the design and implementation of key tracking methodologies (UTM structure, tagging, events, custom fields) to improve visibility into performance.
  • Identify data gaps and recommend enhancements to marketing automation and analytics systems.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting through performance modeling and trend analysis.

Testing & Experimentation

  • Support insights for A/B testing and multivariate analysis for email, paid media, and web optimization.
  • Analyze experimental data to quantify lift, validate hypotheses, and refine messaging or creative direction.
  • Partner with content and design teams to translate data insights into creative strategy.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5–6 years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or growth analysis within a SaaS or B2B tech environment.
  • Proven expertise in building and interpreting multi-channel marketing performance dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, attribution models, and funnel analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with lead management, campaign tracking, and CRM data structures.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate complex data into simple business narratives with strong storytelling capability.
  • Curiosity, precision, and a passion for turning numbers into insights that drive growth.

  • Analytics & Visualization: Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Sigma.
  • CRM & Automation: Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot.
  • Attribution & Performance: Bizible, Google Analytics, HubSpot Attribution, Demandbase, 6sense.
  • Data & Query Tools: SQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Google Sheets (advanced).
  • Collaboration: Slack, Confluence, Asana, Jira.
