Job Details:
The Marketing Coordinator supports the strategic promotion and visibility of Moody College programs, initiatives, and resources through the execution of integrated, multi‑channel marketing and communications efforts. This role is responsible for developing and delivering compelling digital, social, visual, print and multimedia content that advances program goals, engages key audiences, and supports recruitment, participation, and awareness.
A primary focus of the position is executing marketing and communications campaigns for the UTLA and UTNY programs, while also managing College‑wide digital promotional channels and supporting the marketing and promotion of Moody College, events, resources, and key deadlines. The role ensures consistent, timely, and brand‑aligned messaging across platforms, contributes to a dynamic and engaging digital presence for the College, and uses data and analytics to inform continuous improvement.
Execute UTLA and UTNY multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns for delivery of publicity, promotions, lead generation and public relations about UTNY and UTLA programs. Deliver messages to key audiences in alignment with program brand awareness, marketing and recruitment goals and initiatives through execution of strategic social media, targeted email campaigns, print materials, storytelling, and other digital or offline communication. Create compelling and engaging written, visual and multimedia posts and stories. Manage website content for UTNY, UTLA. Design graphic assets to align with university, college and program brand guidelines and are engaging and appealing to the target audience. Manage UTLA/UTNY interns. Manage paid social media campaigns. Analyze metrics to determine impact and optimization. Ensure UTNY/UTLA are keeping up with latest trends for their target audiences.
Support Moody College marketing and promotion for recruitment, events, deadlines and resources. Manage Moody College events calendar, digital monitors and kiosks. Review and approve event and digital monitor submissions, provide feedback for design and content to ensure alignment with Moody College guidelines and brand standards. Ensure timely and accurate posting of slides.
Create and utilize photography, video and dynamic digital storytelling to continually enhance College communications channels. Provide photography to Moody College including to support editorial content, headshots, and event coverage. Photograph, edit, publish and archive photos.
Film videos, edit and deliver final product including pre-production and post-production work, storyboarding, interviews, transcripts and project management. Create multimedia content including sizzle reels, marketing videos and slideshows.
Other related functions as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, multimedia production, or a related field
At least 3 years of professional experience executing multi‑channel marketing or communications campaigns
Demonstrated experience managing and creating content for social media platforms, websites, and email marketing campaigns
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for digital and visual platforms
Proven ability to create graphics and multimedia with proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or comparable design and video tools
Demonstrated experience in photography, video production, and post‑production workflows
Experience analyzing marketing or social media metrics to assess performance and optimize campaigns
Working knowledge of brand standards and ability to apply them consistently across communications
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including students, staff, faculty, and external partners
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or mission‑driven organizations
Experience managing paid social media campaigns and digital advertising
Familiarity with content management systems and website updates
Experience supervising or mentoring student employees or interns
Knowledge of emerging digital storytelling trends and social media best practices
$60,000 + depending on qualifications
